Day 1: Les Eyzies

Arrive to the meeting point in Les Eyzies. We can arrange for private transfer or rental car. Your hotel is a quaint inn under the cliffs of the town. Check in relax and enjoy. Welcome dinner this evening.

Day 2: Les Eyzies

Explore the caves of Font de Gaume and visit the history Museum. Enjoy waking tour of the area for an in-depth understanding of the town. Return to your hotel. Dinner Included.

Day 3: Les Eyzies to Marquay Distance: 11 miles

Wake to the smell of fresh French bread baking and prepare for a great day out walking. You will walk to the forest and fields in the Vally Beune. There you will visit the Chateau de Commarque. Continue on to your hotel in the medieval town of Marquay. Check in, relax and enjoy dinner tonight that is included.

Day 4: Marquay to Beynac Distance: 11 miles

After breakfast take a walk through the forest to the River Dordogne and the Chateau of Beynac that dates back to the 13^th century. Explore and learn about the history of this famous area of France. Return to your hotel in the afternoon. Dinner is on your own tonight to find you favorite quaint restaurant in the town.

Day 5: Beynac to Vitrac Distance: 10 miles

Enjoy your breakfast at leisure, then walk to the town of Domme. The town is high above the river below. Stop to explore the area and then continue on to your hotel at Vitrac. Check in and enjoy. Dinner is on your own.

Day 6: Vitrac to Sarlat Distance: 12 miles

Enjoy your French breakfast and then walk to the famous Chateau de Montfort high above the Dordogne. Your walk will take you through the rolling hills toward your final destination; the town of Sarlat. Check in, rexlax.. Enjoy dinner on your own.

Day 7: Sarlat

This is a free day to relax and explore the town of Sarlat. The town is full of shops and famous sights. You can also choose to just relax at the hotel, rest your feet and read a book, the choice is yours. Dinner included.

Day 8: Sarlat (End of Tour)

How fast a great trip goes by. After breakfast the tour is over. We can arrange for transport back for the flight home or your next destination.
